This does not surprise us, considering the recent rhetoric claiming that public schools are evil coming from some lawmakers. Perhaps are recent budget cuts are what is needed for Christians to wake up and wise up. After all, the Good Book does say:
The mouths of the righteous utter wisdom, and their tongues speak what is just. (Proverbs 73:30 NIV)
If what your legislator utters is anti-education tripe designed to separate the “haves” from the “have nots,” perhaps they are lacking in the wisdom department and need to be voted out.
